Abigail Klimkoski, M.S. CCC-SLP is a speech language pathologist and the CEO/founder of Gem State Speech. After gaining years of experience in the school, hospital, and outpatient clinic settings, she founded Gem State Speech to better help adults and children across Idaho overcome communication and cognitive challenges.
She received her Bachelors of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Texas-A&M University-Kingsville. She is a licensed speech language pathologist in Idaho and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Additionally, she is a Certified SPEAK OUT!® Provider for patients with Parkinson's disease and related disorders.
Abigail has a special interest in the areas of speech, literacy, cognitive communication, and communication disorders resulting from neurological injury. She has a passion for helping her clients improve their quality of life through individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's personal goals.
When Abigail is not working, she enjoys traveling, hiking, cooking, reading, and spending time with her husband, son, and basset hound.
